The Wildwood Apiary
The Manitoba beekeeping world has it seasons and bees are busy throughout them all. However, it is only during six weeks of the year are they actually gathering honey. The following web pages illustrate the Manitoba beekeeping seasons with pictures and written narration. They are intended to illustrate the side shows and dramas associated with bees and the ways they deal with a difficult climate.
Please click on the links to the left to visit my apiary and all its residents.
Just as the bees are busy, so are their beekeepers. I hope to add more web pages and pictures in the future as time and opportunity permits.
